Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the next chapter in the extraordinary sci-fi story created by the legendary Hideo Kojima. The game once again transports us to a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world where humanity grapples with mysterious forces.

We learn more about Sam's adventures, this time embarking on a dangerous journey to Mexico. His mission is to rebuild relationships between scattered settlements and reestablish communication between people.

There are many nods to the previous installment, where we reunite with old allies like Fragile and the Drawbridge organization. Parts of the world are still struggling with the SUBP, and we're not indifferent to them. Our eternal enemy, Higgs Monaghan, also stands in our way.

Game type:

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is an open-world action game played from a third-person perspective. Besides fighting enemies, the game focuses on transporting cargo, strategically planning your route, and using available tools to make your journey easier.

How to play:

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach focuses on rebuilding connections between settlements, where you'll be tasked with establishing efficient supply transport. Gameplay focuses on navigating challenging terrain and integrating the areas and their communities.

As in the first game, you have at your disposal an exoskeleton that allows you to carry heavier loads, off-road vehicles, and modern transport drones. Terrain can be modified by building bridges or installing ziplines to traverse difficult-to-access areas.

To fight your opponents, you can use firearms, but also stealth techniques, which, thanks to threat detection gadgets, you can effectively attack the enemy.

Additionally, Odradek – Sam’s mechanical arm – allows him to detect invisible enemies, which can be a key element of survival.

A new feature is the DHV Magellan – a mobile base that you can call up at any time. This is an interesting solution in that it offers various functions on board, including an operations base and armory.
